The following will guide you into registering DVDRemaster

  • First, make sure you have the latest version of DVDRemaster.
  • You should have received your registration number. If you purchased DVDRemaster prior to the 2.0 release, your registration number will look like this:
      Sample DVDRemaster 1.x registration number:
    DVR1-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

If you don't have a registration number for version 2.x already, you will need to upgrade your registration number. Registration numbers for DVDRemaster 2.0 look like this:
Sample DVDRemaster (Standard) 2.x registration number:
    DVR2-%%%%%%%%%%XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Sample DVDRemaster Pro 2.x registration number:
    DVP2-%%%%%%%%%%XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

  • Double-click on DVDRemaster to launch it. It will ask you to enter your registration information:

    register_empty
  • Enter your name and registration number exactly as they were sent to you. The easiest way is to copy-paste them into the registration box:

    register_filled
  • If DVDRemaster rejects your registration number, you may try deleting its preference file located at /Users/YOU/Library/Preferences/com.metakine.dvdremaster.plist and trying again.
